Plain-language summary for the private beta. Formal terms land before general availability.
The deal
Init8 is an AI product studio that helps you go from idea to running software with agentic pipelines. While we're in private beta, you get the working product, we get feedback, and both sides understand things will move quickly.
Account & access
- One person per account. Teams use the organization signup flow.
- Keep your credentials safe. Compromised accounts are your responsibility until reported.
- We may pause or revoke access for abuse, fraud, or attempts to circumvent rate limits and cost caps.
Usage
- Builds must comply with applicable law. No content designed to harm people, infringe rights, or evade legitimate security controls.
- Don't reverse-engineer or scrape the service. The agentic substrate is open under separate license; the hosted service isn't.
- Bring-your-own-key (BYOK) builds bill against your provider account; the service still applies tier limits and quality gates.
Billing
Paid plans bill through Stripe. Test-mode billing applies during the private beta — your card may be authorized but won't be charged until you transition to a live-mode subscription, which we'll notify you about before it happens. Cancel any time from the account page.
No warranty during beta
The service is provided as-is during private beta. We're shipping fast, surfacing failures honestly, and fixing things in the open. Critical workloads need a stable substrate; please don't bet your business on the beta yet.
Changes
We'll update these terms as the product matures. Material changes get a notice on the dashboard and an email to active accounts.
